Creating a Rough Draft

Our first project in e-communication was a team effort. We started off by individually finding symbols that represent us. Each image had to have a symbolic message about ourselves. There was a paper that had different symbols on it that represented personality traits. I picked all of my symbols from that list. After that, all four group members came together to combine all of their drawings. We made a rough draft on a large piece of paper. After we had a good idea of how we were going to make our work of art, we went outside to the courtyard to bring our masterpieces to life.

Our group grabbed a box of chalk and started to make our square of symbols. Our square was split up into sections for each individual person. First, we made outlines of our drawings. Afterward, we colored them in. After we created our artistic masterpiece, we looked around at other people's drawings. Some drawings had better teamwork than others. In the end, it was a fun team activity where we all got to discuss our ideas.
