"How to Print" Process

First we made the storyboard. All we did was imagine the steps on how to print a document, and draw someone doing those steps. Next, we established the angles for each shot. For example, the hallway scene was a Extreme Wide Shot taken from along the wall. The shot was taken from along the wall to make diagonal lines.

Before we began recording, we decided that I would be the actor. The video starts with a title slide saying, "How to Print." This helped me reach 30 seconds and it let the viewers know what the video will be about. While editing, I sped up the typing scene by a little bit, so it wouldn't last too long. I also cropped a few scenes during the editing process.

We used an iPad as the camera to record. We also had a tripod that we used to keep the recording less shaky. I personally don't see anything very noticeably bad with our video. I would've liked to make the title screen a bit shorter and the ending scene a bit longer, but other than that, it was fine. The camera angles and editing were decent, and the acting was OK. Something I can take away from this project for future projects is the recording and camera angles. I didn't learn much about the editing process in this project, but I did learn a lot more about recording.
